Easter

Lent

During the Reformation, Luther wanted to keep the observance of lent because it reminds Christians of Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. He is said to say, “He who sings, prays twice.”  This season we will sing our way to the cross as we reflect on some favorite Lenten songs during our Sunday and Wednesday worship services.

Wednesdays Lenten Schedule:

5:00pm - Coffee and Fellowship

5:30pm - Soup Supper, each week the free will offering will go towards a different missionary.

6:05pm - Walk with Jesus-Intergenerational Activity

7:00pm - Worship Service

Lent For Families

What is Lent? Why 40 days? Why do my kids need to learn about Lent?  Connect with young and old alike as we “Walk with Jesus” through the weeks leading up to His death and resurrection and have our questions answered. Each Wednesday will have a different theme and activity. Activities begin at 6:05pm.

  • February 26 - Ash Wednesday - Saying Goodbye to Allelulia
  • March 4 - Jesus Enters Jerusalem
  • March 11 - Passover - The Last Supper
  • March 18 - Jesus in Gethsemane
  • March 25 - Peter and Judas betray Jesus
