National Missions

National missions focus is on support for missionaries, organizations and groups that provide aid and support to people within the country. National missions provide ways for members of Shepherd to expand their support and actions while getting directly involved with missionaries and organizations reaching out to address needs across the country.

Navajo Mission Our next trip to Shepherd of the Valley and the Navajo Nation will be July 23-27, 2020. Pastor Tim  and Heidi Norton

Pastor Tim and his family are members of Lutheran Indian Ministries and the LCMS mission outreach.  Pastor Tim is the missionary at Shepherd of the Valley, establishing programs in the Navajo language to share salvation and forgiveness through Christ.

GCI - Global connection international

Global Connection International – Our Kids-Their Targets - This is a new Human Care agency that Shepherd has recognized.  Their program is specifically focused on teaching both parents and children about the facts and ways to fight human sex trafficking.

Alternatives Pregnancy Center

The Alternative Pregnancy Center organization exists to be a first stop for people facing an unplanned pregnancy, to address at-risk sexual behavior and to help build healthy families. For more information, please click HERE. 



LCMS Disaster Response

Shepherd recognizes the needs and actively provide aid when major disasters, such as major fire, flood and hurricanes that may occur nationally. To provide Christian aid, Shepherd teams up with LCMS Disaster Response to deliver impactful aid to the families in distress.
